business for the past nine years. We have been the
official Tanning Sponsor for the NPC Natural Northern
USA Bodybuilding & Figure Championships, The NPC
Natural Ohio Bodybuilding & Figure
Championships in Cleveland, Ohio, The NPC Natural East Coast
Tournament of Champions Bodybuilding & Figure Championships in
Washington, DC and the NPC Maryland State Bodybuilding & Figure
Championships in Maryland. We enjoy what
we do and focus our attention on making all the
athletes look absolutely gorgeous on stage. We
also tan athletes who live and compete in various
amateur and professional shows in the United States
and abroad.
We offer
all athletes high-quality, personalized tanning
services at our special discounted rates. We use
the full line of Jan Tana AirBrush and Skin Care
products because they are simply the best in the
industry. We also use and provide other
well-know products such as ProTan and Bikini Bite.
Additionally, all these products are available
for you to purchase both Friday at Early Check-In and
all day Saturday backstage and at our vendor table.
Tanning is
a necessary and important component to competing when
it comes to showcasing your physique on stage.
All regular skin tones look "washed out" on
stage under the bright lights. It doesn't matter
how dark you think you look under regular lights, you
could always use at least 2-3 additional tan
applications to give you a deep, dark color on stage.
Under bright lights, darker skin tones will highlight
the definition in your muscles you worked so hard to
achieve. After all, you are being judged on
muscle definition and symmetry.
Save time
and money by getting an airbrush tan. Stop
wasting time in tanning beds and asking family
members and friends to stay up late helping you tan.
Let the experts do it, that's
our job! We want you to relax, stay
focused and look flawless on
stage. Why be uptight and stressed about your
tan. We are available and ready to tan every
single competitor in the show. If this is your
first show or you are new to the tanning process, we
highly recommend you get an airbrush tan. We
guarantee you will be pleased with your new color.
Prior to
your airbrush tan, it is recommended that you shower, exfoliate
and remove hair from your entire body. Please
wear an old posing suit, or thong so we can provide
maximum tan coverage without lines or streaking.
We offer a privacy booth for women and men who prefer
to tan in the nude. Wear flip-flops and loose
clothing to wear after your tan (i.e. hospital scrubs,
sundress). Please do not
wear or bring tight clothes with elastic edges. Please
DO NOT wear
jeans, terrycloth clothing, heavy
sweatsuits,
hoodies,
socks, pullover tops and leggings.
We will apply 'free of charge' Jan Tana
Glaze to all bodybuilders and JanTana Deep Moisturizer
to all figure competitors backstage on Saturday
ONLY before
pre-judging and finals. Our tanning team
WILL NOT roam
the dressing rooms, stage or pump-up areas looking for
you. It is the responsibility of all competitors
to report to the designated tanning area set up
backstage to receive ALL
tanning services. For
oil and moisturizer services, report to the tanning
area about three to four classes ahead of yours to
ensure you do not miss your stage debut.
Tanning products are also available
for purchase both Friday and all day Saturday as well.
Please DO NOT bring PAM and other spray oils backstage with
you. It makes a mess and an creates an unsafe environment
for everyone backstage. In addition, spraying
oil on your tan could streak your color and often
blinds the judges when you are on stage. .
