To lose unwanted fat, you have to detoxify your liver.  The liver functions like a giant filter, designed to detoxify caffeine, drugs, environmental pollutants, and unhealthy fats.  Once your liver is supported and nourished, you will experience an increase in energy, improved digestion and hormonal balance, glowing skin, a healthier cardiovascular system, and enhanced immune system.  Carbohydrates and proteins that we eat go directly from the intestines to the bloodstream, fat moves throughout the lymphatic system.  Cleansing the lymphatic system is vital for ridding the body of cellulite-like deposits.  If lymph doesn't flow properly, excess fluid causes our tissues to swell, adding up to 10-15 pounds to our weight.  Poor lymphatic circulation means that nutrients in our food don't get properly digested, similar to a backed up drain.  To flush the lymphatic system it is important to drink plenty of water and high-quality liquids such as pure, unsweetened cranberry juice diluted with water, consume the right balance of lean proteins, slow acting, low-glycemic carbs, and essential fats.  Avoid food additives, pollutants, and other toxins by choosing natural and minimally processed foods and most important, keep exercising.
